Avid International was established in January of 1993. Over the years we have owned several diverse companies. Our founder raised capital by manufacturing electronic part for sale to a client in Australia. In June of 93 Avid International entered the rental business as one of the first cellular phone rental company on the west cost. When the cellular market changed so did Avid by quickly adding the retail sale of pagers, and paging service.

By 1999 Avid International DBA as Communications Warehouse was one of the largest paging service providers in Kern County with an active customer base of over 2,000, and more than 10,000 customers total. As the paging market began to decline Avid once again began to diversify, and by Oct of 1998 launched it new internet service division.

Founder Bryan Williams believed that the internet was going to become the next frontier just as paging, and cellular had been through the 80's and 90's. " We jumped into the internet market late in 1998, and literally watched as the stock of all the new startups crashin 1999. One thing was for sure. The internet wasn’t going away. So we buckled down, leveraged our recourses and thats how survived when many others failed. "

Avid International is located in Santa Cruz Ca, although most days you find Founder Bryan Williams working from his home in the Santa Cruz Mountains.
